Fred Schmitt
Fred has over 20 years of experience leading and consulting on Governance, Organizational
and Management Development initiatives in a wide variety of organizations. He has worked with a variety of colleges
and universities on improving their effectiveness (e.g., Colgate Vassar, Hamilton, Hartwick).
Fred provides his expertise to both private and public sector organizations who
seek to accelerate their effectiveness and results. He has extensive experience helping develop the leadership and organizational
alignment needed to evolve how they operate within our fast-paced and ever changing national and global work environments.
As a result, he has traveled extensively worldwide helping clients meet the challenges of evolving their organizations performance.
He has designed and implemented organization and team structures, training and coaching for building effective teamwork for
higher educational leadership, multi-disciplinary research, clinical and healthcare management; global and regional business,
category and brand teams. Other topics Fred has presented and trained on have included conflict resolution, leadership development,
diversity, and executive coaching, change and performance management.
Prior
to Performance Strategies, Ltd.., Fred was with Automatic Data Processing, ADP, as Director of Management and Organizational
Development. There, he implemented among other initiatives, The Executive Development Seminars, Participative Management,
Technical Internships and Work and Family programs.
He
is also the Managing Director of the Executive Development Group a leading consulting firm who support the needs health care
systems for developing high performing organizations.
Fred has a Master’s Degree
from SUNY Oneonta. The outcomes of his work have helped clients to build sustaining effectiveness that deliver a competitive
advantage and achieve results for their workforce and those they serve.
